We were texting, of course, and I mentioned a CEO!Jensen with secretary!Danneel and Jared as the 'prospective employee'. She wanted it and this happened...
Danneel thinks that her boss Jensen is a bit of an idiot. She’s known the guy since college and they’ve been best friends since and she’s never seen him this ruffled. He’s usually the calm and collected one out of all her friends.
But lately…
Lately there’s Jared that makes her normally calm and collected boss into a tongue-tied teenager. Try saying that five times fast.
But Jared. Jared is tall, very handsome, with floppy hair, moles, twinkling hazel eyes, dimples, a gorgeous smile, and did she mention he’s tall? He’s taller than Jensen who is pretty tall at 6’1”. He towers over her and brings her flowers and always asks about Jensen. He’s trying to get a job with the company, or that’s what he says at least. She suspects it’s more about just seeing Jensen. He always tries to catch glimpses at him and waves and says hi when he does see Jensen.
So being the good secretary/best friend she is, Danneel asks Jared about his intentions. About what he wants and Jared? Jared blushes and rubs the back of his neck and is pretty much the definition of adorable. She has to do something or this little denial dance will go on forever. She makes it a goal to get those two together to watch the hot sex. Because she has needs too.
But Jensen thinks that Danneel is lying when she tries telling him that Jared is probably gay and that all he does is ask about Jensen. She thinks Jared is just trying to get the job, not trying to get Jensen!
She subtly drops hints to Jensen about Jared and what they talk about when he visits. She tries to get Jared to include Jensen in their conversations, which he does, but Jensen just looks down and strokes his fingers through his hair nervously and mumbles stuff. Which, yeah adorable, but isn’t really moving the process along.
She’s finally had enough and finds a way to lock them both in one of the meeting rooms. She listens at the door and hears Jensen banging against the door, telling her to open it or he’ll fire her. Yeah right. Jensen would never fire her. But then Jensen stops and Danneel only hears silence for a while. Then she can hear low murmurs of Jensen and Jared talking and she smiles to herself. Then she hears silence again and a thud against the wall right near the door. Danneel tilts her head and she thinks she can just make out kissing sounds and she pats herself on the back, extremely pleased with herself. She is totally the best secretary/best friend ever.
Jared starts coming to the office even more and he still stops to talk to her, because he is that type of guy. But now he stays holed up in Jensen’s office too. And he comes out with clothes disheveled and hair in disarray and lips swollen and red. She smirks at Jensen when he leaves but Jensen just blushes and tells her to get back to work.
She needs to find a way to see into that office now. Because Jared always leaves with this dazed sort of expression that Danneel has got to see why.
