january 24 - the_milky_way

Okay so I'm going to preface this by saying that a lot of what I love/adore/etc is brought upon by peer pressure or essentially I am EASILY swayed by other people's thoughts and ideas. It's a problem. (Ex: I always loved Scott, but started to hate him JUST a little bit because a few fics I read really delved into the betrayal of Scott to Stiles and Derek in S2 re: Gerard)

I recently really got into TW. I had watched it since Season 1, but ngl, the growth of Stile's hair made him uber desirable (on more than a personality level, bc I always loved him, but made him into a 'hot damn he's hot' - I never claimed not to be shallow) and thus propelled me into fandom. This past summer got me super into Tyler Hoechlin/Dylan O'Brien - esp. after watching the comic con interview with them (reference here) and yeah. THEN, I realized there was a WHOLE TON of Stiles/Derek fic and yeah, game over. I've been reading them NON STOP. It's a problem in that I've been reading fic and not getting any real work stuff done haha

Okay, I like that the writing is usually pretty awesome - the characterizations of Stiles and Scott's relationship has always been a fave. I love the idea of Scott/Allison and Stiles/Derek. Isaac, I've kinda adored because of fanon rather than canon (does anyone else have moments of: is this canon or fanon?!). Umm I don't like that Derek is ALWAYS suffering - it's like the show's creator seriously hates him. Can we just give him SOME happiness? Like how hard would it have been to just keep Laura alive. Seriously. Anyway, I like it for the most part, just small things here and there methinks. And seriously, it's come a long way since the first season wherein I just tolerated it hahahah
