A/N: I did a drabble meme thing andwendy requested secret love notes. This is the response that doesn't completely fit the prompt. Edited a bit after I posted it at my journal.
Jared is a girl. He has to be. There's no other explanation for the what seem like millions of pink sticky notes everywhere. Correction, the millions of pink GLITTERY sticky notes everywhere. Where the hell did Jared find these? It figures that Jared would find them because as stated, he is a girl. They are plastered to almost every surface in Jensen's trailer. Some on the walls, the table, the cabinets, the sofa, the fridge, the TV, even the toilet seat! They don't cover everything, but there is the shocking pink everywhere Jensen looks.
Jared was either really bored or he was just being Jared. Jensen's leaning toward the latter, it IS Jared after all. And surely Jared's hand had to have hurt an awful lot after writing something on all those notes.
Jensen picks one up and sees ILY. What the hell is that? He picks another one up and sees QT. Another one says SWT. Seriously, where is he getting these? Jensen thinks back to the nerdy valentine candy hearts that Jensen got him last Valentines Day as a joke.
He expects Jared to pop out and yell SURPRISE and give Jensen a heart attack or something, but it's quiet.
He picks another one up and reads XOXO and a grin is tugging at his lips no matter how much he tries to resist. His boyfriend is a gigantic dork. But Jensen loves him anyway. He glances around again, hoping to see Jared but he can't hear the snicker Jared would be trying to hold back, or the stomp of footsteps because Jared can't sit still to save his life. And Jared is a giant, so it'd be hard to miss his six foot something boyfriend.
He continues to pick random ones up and all of them have some version of I LOVE YOU or HOT or some other saying. He heads to the bed and sees one on the pillow. Just one.
He picks it up and it says Turn Around. He does just that and he sees Jared's standing right there, gazing at him, a half smile on his face and a pink glittery sticky note stuck to his forehead. He smiles a little wider and he heads toward him to read the note. It says Marry Me. That's it. Jensen gasps and looks into Jared's eyes.
Jared grasps Jensen's fingers and tangles them together, asking in silence. It's kind of unnerving how silent Jared is. Jensen thinks about how much time all this must have taken, how freaking quiet Jared had to be. His Jared, the one who can't sit still under any circumstance. The one he loves and adores even if he is a ginormous girl. His ginormous girl.
Jensen sees a marker poking out of Jared's shirt pocket and grabs it, gently taking the note off Jared's face as well. He scribbles a YES on the note and Jared grins. Bright. Happy. Gorgeous. They both lean in for a kiss. Their first kiss as fiancees.
