1. Pick any three ships in any fandom(s). Explain why you love (or hate) them.
1) Obviously Harry/Draco in the HP fandom. I love it because..I don't really have a reason. I started reading H/D because I was reading Sirius/James and H/D was a minor pairing and I fell in love with the tension between the two, how completely oppositte they are, yet have so much in common. One's fair, one's dark (hair-wise), one's 'light' and one's 'dark' and so much more. And the movies helped because that's how I imagine them to look, and both are hotties ;).
2) I don't want to rag on Snape/Harry but I just can't understand it. I've tried reading a lot of pairings, but that one just doesn't do it for me. Maybe it's because of the age difference, the pure hatred between the two, I don't know. Or maybe it's because I don't find him attractive at all in the movies. I'm one of the few, I know, and I'm sorry. In the books, he looks ok but the first image popping into my head when I imagine Snape is from the movies. I don't care if others ship him, I just can't, I don't hate that ship either, don't misunderstand me.
3) I ship Jared Padalecki/Jensen Ackles from I guess Supernatural fandom? It's RPS, and the main reason I love it is because they too are so alike yet different. And again, have you seen them? HOTTIES like WOAH! (I'm shallow *shrugs* lol)
2. If $500 magically appeared in your pocket, what would you spend it on? (No paying off bills, no saving it, nothing like that. You must spend every cent.)
Honestly? I'd leave this place and fly to one of my fandom friends, and spend the rest, if there is any, shopping! :) That is if I had the freedom to also. Either that or fly to where family members live and visit them.
3. When you're upset, what do you do to comfort yourself?
I go to my flist and see what they're up to. I read fluff fics to make me smile, and chat with Betsy and Aoife esp. who always make me smile, no matter what mood I'm in.
4. What is your earliest memory?
I have a very bad memory childhood wise (even though I'm only 19!) but I remember wwhen I was six. My cousin was getting married and everyone was at our house. She was putting on henna, and I wanted to be just like her. So I sat down next to her, pulled my other cousin down by me on the sofa (our legs hanging over the side) and asked my mom to put it on me too. She did and I loved henna from then on. We watched our sister practice her dance for my cousin with her friends, and we were having a mini-party there. It was tons of fun, and my first real wedding.
5. Did anything give you nightmares when you were a child?
The dark. I was, and sometimes still am, deathly afraid of it. I imagine a bad spirit, the devil, or something similar waiting for me in the dark and I used to have nightmares of them coming after me. I would be in the dark and the spirits would chase me through the dark and I couldn't escape them or the darkness.
Well now you know a lot more about me :)
