~*~ I watched 'The Blind Side' and 'Precious'. Both are phenomenal movies, but the latter one made me freak out a little. It was a bit disturbing, but you gotta admire her. Sandra Bullock did AMAZING in the former, I seriously have a huge girl crush on her again. LOL.

~*~ Rona and I submitted our final big bang version to beta and it's a whopping 43K+. It may either drop enormously (hopefully not!) or change by a hundred words or so depending on what we decide. Yeah, I'm being a bit cryptic haha.

~*~ One of my biggest pet peeves? Comments not being responded to or just a few being replied to in an entry, not all of them. If I'm taking the time to leave you a comment, shouldn't you take that time to respond? Just wondering. What are your biggest pet peeves?

matalinolukaret and I post our Big Bang July 1 and we're still barely halfway through our edits. We're writing in some new scenes, taking care of random business in our fic, and making sure it flows. I'm at the point where I'm starting to get scared of posting something this huge. It's 40K+ and we're still writing. I love this story from the bottom of my heart, and as much as I try to be positive, I can't help but be a tad hesitant about posting it!

♥ Austin Nichols got a Twitter and I MIGHT have flailed a little bit! If you don't know who he is, he plays Julian Baker in One Tree Hill. He's also Sophia Bush's (her twitter) boyfriend and bff's with Jake Gyllenhaal. AND, he's in our Big Bang too. Very adorable, I might add!

♥ Oh man, I'm SO behind on Rising Con stuff, it's not even funny! I've only watched the Ole vid pretty much, and only seen the pics ya'll post. I miss my boys and it's weird because I'm usually on top of con stuff. It just seems so MASSIVE and Big Bang (reading and writing!) has taken over my brain so I feel so scared to look through the stuff haha. But I did read the highlights from this article and couldn't stop smiling.

Jensen on what Jared might have studied at college: “I’m gonna brag on him a bit, he’s like a math savant. It’s a little creepy.”

I swear, my eyes went like ♥_♥ for a little while! Jared being the math nerd, Jensen bragging about it, all of it. These boys are so damn adorable!

+ So I read this werewolf J2 fic last night. Even though it wasn't the most awesome thing in the world (grammar mostly) I pretty much fell in love with it because of the idea of J2 being MATES. There was a scene of them calling each other mates and becoming mates and it made me a little warm under the collar. Seriously. I find that SO ridiculously hot and I think that's why I love possessive and jealousy!fics. The idea of belonging to someone, of getting jealous because someone's touching what's yours, of claiming someone, of being mated to someone is unbelievably sexy to me. And now I need more fics of mating in that way. Of either jealousy fics, or of creature!fics where they're meant to be! (In Harry Potter world, I loved Veela fics for this reason too!) So if you read that, recs please? *bats lashes*

♥ Sorry I've been kinda AWOL guys. My cousins were visiting from Kenya for my graduation and to just visit, so I've been spending as much time as possible with them. egotists as our Big Bang artist and I couldn't be happier! I'm so excited! Our fic is titled even the wrong words seem to rhyme and is essentially based on the Brooke/Julian storyline in One Tree Hill.

-- Ugh I'm so damn exhausted. We drove back here at like 530 this morning. My body is still protesting.

-- Harry/Draco and J-Squared Readers, I need your help!
I'm trying to find a few fics, and I'd love if you could help me out!

1. Harry/Draco: Harry is moved to Grimmauld Place and so is Draco. I think this was hosted on fanfiction.net maybe? There is a chapter about Blue Cheese too. Also, Harry and Draco end up getting together and there's a comment made that everyone finds out 'while they're sleeping'. There's also a scene where Harry, Draco, Hermione, etc. are playing Truth or Dare (or I Never maybe) and it comes out that Draco's first was Cho. Harry gets super upset and Draco comforts him. C'mon ya'll, help a girl out!

2. Harry/Draco: This is one of kimberjingle's fics. All I remember is that Harry had a bit of a Malfoy obsession haha. He almost passed out when Lucius, Draco, AND Narcissa were at his place. Draco is sick in this one and Harry is determined to find a potion antidote.

3. Anyone know where Lani's H/D fics are located?

4. Jared/Jensen: Jared and Jensen make a list of people they're allowed to sleep with, no consequence. Jared's list turns out to be all of Jensen's roles he's played.

Big Bang is almost finished!!! We have one or two more scenes (Rona's in the midst of writing the MAJOR one) and that's all! Now it's title and summary time. Oh boy.

I've been getting a total of 5 hours (MAYBE!) of sleep a night. God I'm so damn exhausted.

Had the test today. I'm not happy with it. IDK how I did yet, hopefully I did enough to pass. It was a hella expensive test! But it's done, now I focus on OTHER things. :)

Another Big Bang rec!

So I said I was going to finish

finn21's fic today and I did! (well technically it's Friday now, but whatever). It took awhile (MANY distractions) but so worth it!

Make sure you read this wonderful fic! It's funny and heartwrenching and painful and made me sad but she made it all the better! And I loved the way she tells a story, images form in your mind, and her style of writing is excellent!

This Temporary Life
summary: AU. In the year 2025, Jared Padalecki gathers his daughter and son to tell them the story of how he met their father. Rewind back twenty years to the past, Jensen and Jared are best friends making a living in Hollywood. Through their tight knit group of friends and some difficult stumbling blocks on the way, Jared and Jensen learn to laugh at life, themselves and most importantly Chad. Everything seems perfect on the surface until feelings get involved.

bekkis Big Bang when it was posted today (I've been holding off, but c'mon, it's BECKY!) and fell in LOVE.

It's a political AU and though I'm not usually into politics, I can be when written write. Everyone should def. read Know Your Damn Constituents (best title EVER).

summary: Jensen Ackles was a rising star in politics when he suddenly picked up and left D.C. to work back home in the private sector. He swore he was done with politics. But when his ex shows up with the perfect opportunity, Jensen finds he's not ready to give up on politics after all. A dream candidate and the chance to gain back his reputation, Jensen's ready to get back into the game. Except Jensen has to convince Jared Padalecki, his old political rival, that he's right for the job, and Jared is the last person Jensen can go to for a favor.

This was angsty and full of longing and hot sexy and full of awesomeness!

The notoriously private Jensen extends an invitation--by way of a first-class plane ticket--for Jared to hide out at Jensen's mostly empty Paris flat while he films his next movie.

Three months in Paris is enough to tone down the tabloid attention, but Jared returns to LA only to find that he doesn't have everything figured out. They say you can't go home again, but Jared discovers that sometimes that's exactly what you have to do.

This was one of my favorites as soon as I read this. It was beautiful and it's them working together again with the snark and the love and I can't explain it. If you haven't read it why not? And if you have? Read it again :D
