This weekend has been rough, especially today, now that Dad is gone. We never were big on celebrating Father's Day, but we always had a dad to celebrate with. Now seeing all the social media posts everywhere just makes my heart ache.

I wrote this poem a few weeks ago when I was in an abyss with missing Dad and thought I'd share it. I want to post it somewhere so his name can be immortalized forever but idk if it's anywhere near good enough to publish. :/ If you have tips about that, let me know!

What did you think? I'm actually pretty proud of it.

For those that follow me on Twitter, you saw this. But I just want to put this out there bc I might get a little quiet or I might need distractions. I don't know what I need as this is the first time in this position.

My Dad passed away last night. Heart attack in the afternoon [my time], was stable, but then had another one in the evening. I haven't seen him in a month because he was still out of town. My mom and 2 brothers are thankfully over there too so they have the support of the whole family. I'm really glad my brothers were there, but yeah.

That happened. Anyway, please just wish him paradise or good thoughts and wish me to be strong for my family.

I love you guys. Just in case you didn't know. I do. Tremendous amounts. Words can't describe.
