I went to sleep early last night because I wasn't feeling well, and this morning I ran into my brother in the hallway as I was going to take a shower. He asked me if I had seen the box. I was like, uh no. I looked back inside my room and saw a box. An Amazon box. An Amazon box with the words Kindle Fire across the side!!!
So yeah, problem solved ;)

♥ I watched 'The Breakfast Club' a while back and "Don't You Forget About Me" became a quick favorite of mine. Plus it features in One Tree Hill and one of my favorite scenes AND in Rona and my Big Bang fic and I heard it TWICE today. Once randomly on the radio (which made me grin wide, let me tell you) and again at the end of Easy A (SUCH A CUTE MOVIE. I have a crush on Emma Stone now, seriously). Speaking of movies, where are the J2 adaptations of Going the Distance and Easy A and hopefully Life As We Know It as well??!!abouttwoboys or whenboymeetsboy needs to happen again haha.
♥ Also speaking of music, does anyone have the DL to "Don't You Forget About Me"? Or the soundtrack to Rent? (Just saw that recently too. That was pretty awesome too!
♥ It sometimes amazes me how absolutely BRILLIANT fandom is. In art, fic, meta, everything. We have so SERIOUSLY amazing people here. I'm humbled sometimes by it's awesomeness and in those tough times, try to focus on that instead ;)

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for making my birthday absolutely amazing. This birthday was AMAZING. I LOVE BIRTHDAYS! Monday we went to this street that's filled with thrift stuff and well I can't really explain, BUT it's awesome and you can find some amazing deals. So I bought myself (or well, my cousin snatched out of my hand and bought for me) some gold shoes! Yay! I wanted a silver pair too, and I'm gonna go back and get them soon. Hopefully. Then we had lunch at this Indian place, yay Masala Dosa! Then we had to drive back here so ehh. And then I had to study for my test, but talked to people and checked my epic flist instead :D

Now for the tangibles.potthead came to my work yesterday to bring me CUPCAKES! And bananas (because she and twofourteen are perverts ;)) and she's awesome and we talked and I have to rec her a BUNCH OF FIC. But yeah, pics ( here )
THEN my friend took me to dinner where my other friend surprised me by being there! AND A BALLOON! (and this big cupcake!) I've never gotten one in my life, so I was VERY happy and flushed and generally felt amazing for having such awesome friends :D We ate and then I went home where I see that I've gotten a card fromvanae! I open it and there are these ADORABLE key chains in it with this beautiful card and THANK YOU honey <3 ( cuteness here )
WHEW. So yeah, epic birthday. Thank you again. Seriously. You guys don't know how much all this means to me, because birthdays have never been a big thing for me, and I've always wanted to have ONE day for me and yeah. THANKS!

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for making my birthday absolutely amazing. This birthday was AMAZING. I LOVE BIRTHDAYS! Monday we went to this street that's filled with thrift stuff and well I can't really explain, BUT it's awesome and you can find some amazing deals. So I bought myself (or well, my cousin snatched out of my hand and bought for me) some gold shoes! Yay! I wanted a silver pair too, and I'm gonna go back and get them soon. Hopefully. Then we had lunch at this Indian place, yay Masala Dosa! Then we had to drive back here so ehh. And then I had to study for my test, but talked to people and checked my epic flist instead :D

I went to go check my Astronomy grade yesterday and I got an A on the final. AND. The prof said I got the third highest grade in the class! That totally had me smiling all day yesterday. :) I NEVER thought that would happen so yay!
